Brasília & Rio de Janeiro
This gallery brings together images from my visits to two of Brazil’s most iconic cities — Brasília and Rio de Janeiro — each offering a completely different vision of the country.
In Brasília, the modernist capital, I explored the bold architectural masterpieces of Oscar Niemeyer: sweeping curves, futuristic government buildings, and vast open spaces that make the city feel like a work of art.
Rio de Janeiro, by contrast, is a city of rhythm and energy. From the golden beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema to the views from Sugarloaf Mountain and Corcovado, Rio is where nature and urban life collide in spectacular fashion.
Together, these two cities reveal Brazil’s diversity — Brasília with its planned, visionary design and Rio with its vibrant, spontaneous soul.
