A Patchwork of Memories


This gallery brings together a collection of images captured during the years I lived in Colombia, from 2011 to 2014. It is a visual patchwork that reflects the country’s incredible diversity — its cities, landscapes, and everyday life.


Many photos were taken in Bogotá, a city full of contrasts, where colonial streets meet modern skyscrapers and vibrant street art brightens every corner. Beyond the capital, my travels took me across several departments: the mountains of Boyacá and Cundinamarca, the coffee-growing hills of Caldas, Risaralda, and Quindío, the lush plains of Meta, the tropical beauty of Magdalena, the wild rainforests of Chocó, and the volcanic landscapes of Tolima.


Each image tells a small part of the story of my time there. A glimpse of Colombia’s people, colours, and spirit during three unforgettable years.
